Installation Steps
Step 1. Clean
Scrub the wall with a degreaser. The wall must be bone-dry and free of oils. Even "clean" walls have hidden cooking grease; don't skip this!
Step 2. Cut
Measure and trim the interlocking tabs of your first tile to create a straight edge for the corner. A sharp utility knife and a metal ruler work best.
Step 3. Peel
Peel off the backing paper and stick on backsplash.
Tip: Please do not remove the protective film until the whole project done.
Step 4. Stick
Stick backsplash tile side by side for a seamless appearance.
Warm Tips & Professional Warnings
Surface Requirements: Best suited for smooth surfaces like painted drywall, existing tile, glass, or metal. Not recommended for popcorn walls, heavy textures, or unfinished plywood.
Heat Clearance: While heat resistant, ensure a minimum distance of 15 inches from open flames or high-heat appliances to prevent warping.
The "Hairdryer" Trick: To remove tiles without damaging the wall, use a hairdryer on high heat to soften the adhesive before peeling slowly from a corner.
Alignment: Ensure your first tile is perfectly level. If the first one is tilted, the entire wall will look crooked!
